He spent a number of years at Vanderbilt University developing new tools for image-guided surgery, and imaging biomarker discovery using proteomic imaging and MRI. In 2009, Dr. Sinha was recruited to the UCSF Department of Radiology manage image post-processing services on campus for both clinical and research purposes. Based on early work in bringing iPad technology into the clinical environment, Dr. Sinha was asked to address emerging needs in partnerships and alliances for digital health on campus. In 2012, he joined the Health eHeart Team to help guide the development of the technology platform, and also assist in developing new models of partnership between emerging digital health companies. Most recently, Dr. Sinha has spun-out a new venture, called Vital Labs, that aims to improve the cardiovascular health patients using novel chronic disease management technologies.
